I was beginning to worry that they would not come. Ed wondered why they were even necessary- it's not like I am planning to show him and the breeding thing is off the table. But I paid a lot for a well bred registered dog and I wanted his papers.
I opened the envelope and I started to laugh.
You see, a few months ago the breeder said that I needed to pick a name for his papers that started with 'A'. All of the puppies had to be registered that way. I remember giving a few names but saying it really didn't matter as long as Guinness was his second name.
So here is what arrived today:
I give you 'Awesome Guinness Von Narnia.'
That's right. My Guinness is officially awesome.
He's getting a big head over it.
That's Mr. Awesome if you please |
The best thing I've read all week!!!! HILARIOUS! Whoever made up those papers has a sense of humor and I love it!
ReplyDeleteIt made me laugh so hard.
DeleteLooks like he's one of the best of all the Narnia dogs, IMO : )
ReplyDeleteI think that he is. :)
Deleteomg. omg omg. now you HAVE to show him just to hear the judges announce that name!!!! :D
ReplyDeleteIt would be funny!
DeleteThere's nothing more to say but AWESOME name!
ReplyDeleteLOL!
DeleteThat's so awesome!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it just?
DeleteHa ha ha. Too cute. I love it!
ReplyDeleteI think that the breeder has a sense of humour.
DeleteLOL - our german shepherd is Sir Titan the Magnificent. :D They live up to their name, so you gotta make it good!
ReplyDeleteOh that is a WONDERFUL name!
DeleteHe has really grown to be a truly magnificent dog!!
ReplyDeleteHe has. Although he sill has goofy moments.
DeleteGuinness is not only beautiful and handsome now he's officially AWESOME! I'm sure it is going straight to his head.
ReplyDeleteHe now has a bigger swagger in his walk.
DeleteHahahaha that is FABULOUS! What an awesome dog! ;-)
ReplyDeleteHe's a wonderful dog.
DeleteHahahahaa, von Narnia, that is rich! Ah, I think he wears his name well.
ReplyDeleteHe was bred at 'Narnia Kennels' hence the 'Von Narnia' part. It's quite the handle for a farm dog.
DeleteAhahaha! Love it. Narnia Kennels is such a cool kennel name. Ironically, I just finished registering Taiga this morning. I never put Kenai's papers into the system but decided what the heck with Taiga. She's got an A start to her name, too, but only because I had to make her name bigger to be registered. She's Appalachian Taiga.
ReplyDeleteHer name is very classy- just like she looks!
Delete😂 Congratulations! I love quirky dog names. My lab, Maggie, had Moosamus in her lines, so she was Maggie Mae Moosamus. I remember laughing when her papers arrived, too. That was 11 years ago. Time flies. Our dogs give us so much.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful name she has.
DeleteThis is hilarious! Funny that you wrote about this right now since I just got the papers back for Moshy :) I got to pick her name though so no fun surprises there
ReplyDeleteOh what is her name???
DeleteI love his name!
ReplyDeleteThankyou. I keep using it now. :)
DeleteHaha picking a registered name is so hard. Even worse when you try to make it have meaning....like me!
