Sorry guys. I am struggling here.
Long story short- Quaid is worse. Vet ( my regular vet) came, looked at him and recommended we go to Vet Hospital.
Best case scenario- it’s just an abscess
Next best- infection in the bone and needs IV antibiotics
Next- above and needs surgery
Worst- well we know that one.
I just can’t.
All the jingles and love for you and Quaid. Crossing all my crossables 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞
ReplyDeleteI'm crossing all the crossables that it's an abscess. Sending lots of love and good wishes your way. Thinking of you guys!
ReplyDeletei'm so sorry, Teresa, sending every positive thought i can conjure <3
ReplyDeleteall of charlie's hoof traumas have gone thru an abscess period. usually some intermediary period after the initial trauma. but... again, in charlie's case, we've been lucky to have a confident degree of clarity in differentiating between the actual trauma, and residual side effects.
good luck and safe travels to the hospital <3
